AudaCity token (ticker DACITYCOIN) is an ERC-20 meme coin on Ethereum. According to CoinGecko data checked at 04:47 UTC on November 4, 2026, it has no whitepaper or code repository on file, and it trades in exactly one place: an ETH pair on the decentralized exchange Uniswap v4. Reaching #1 on CoinGecko trending means many people searched for it on CoinGecko in the past day. It says nothing about value or safety. Before buying, pin down the contract address, check how deep the liquidity really is, look at holder concentration, and make sure you are not looking at a same-name token on another chain.
What is the AudaCity token?
The project's CoinGecko description opens with a slogan: Quit your job. Sell your house. Move to AudaCity. It pitches AudaCity as a place where ordinary rules no longer apply and boldness is the operating system, and says DacityCoin fuels that ecosystem and gives holders a stake in the culture. What the description does not include is any concrete utility, revenue model, roadmap, or named team.
CoinGecko files it under Meme and Ethereum Ecosystem, and the listing carries a CoinGecko notice that these are newly created pools that may carry risks. The only official links are a website (audacityoneth.fun) and an X account (@audacityoneth). Telegram, Discord, and GitHub fields are empty.

The quit-your-job, sell-your-house line is branding, not a plan. Treat it as marketing copy and never move rent, savings, or home equity into a meme token on the strength of a slogan. Tokens like this can swing tens of percent in a single day.
Three lookalike tokens: verify by contract address

A CoinGecko search for dacity returns three results. Two share the exact same name, AudaCity, and the exact same ticker, DACITYCOIN. The one that hit #1 on trending is the Ethereum version, CoinGecko ID audacity-2.

- Different token with a similar name
The Solana AudaCity has a market cap of roughly $1.8 million, about one ninth of the Ethereum token, and uses a different X account, @dacitycoin_gta. Type AudaCity into a wallet or DEX search box and both may appear, sometimes with similar logos. That is how people end up holding the wrong coin.
- The Ethereum address starts with 0x and is 42 characters long: 0x14d145a695a2e98234e83d8c780f6a5852c3c95b.
- The Solana address has no 0x prefix and ends in pump: DKYcjobF7HPtL9RyQBRdeRQ2iWvizpfbgWwPWNXdpump.
- On a DEX, paste the address instead of searching by name, and confirm the network shown is Ethereum.
- Compare any address you get from Telegram or X replies character by character with the one on CoinGecko and Etherscan.

Why 2.4% liquidity matters
Market cap is just the last traded price multiplied by supply. What you can actually sell into is the liquidity sitting in the pool. With roughly $373,000 in the main pool, the $15.5 million headline figure is not money that could be cashed out at that price. A large sell order would push the price down fast, and if liquidity providers withdraw, the same order would hit even harder.
Is a 7.1% top-10 share a safety signal?
GeckoTerminal token data shows the top 10 addresses holding 7.145%, ranks 11 to 30 holding 6.34%, ranks 31 to 50 holding 3.54%, and everyone else 82.98%. On paper that is fairly spread out. But the data does not say how pool contracts or burn addresses are treated, and it cannot detect one person spreading tokens across many wallets. The developer address and developer holding fields are blank, so team allocation is unknown.
More buys than sells, yet the price fell
Over 24 hours the main pool logged 2,965 buys and 1,335 sells, from 839 buying addresses and 326 selling addresses. Over the same window the pool price dropped 19.9%. Trade count is not trade size: a handful of large sells can outweigh many small buys, so a high buy count alone is not proof of strong demand.
What to check in a Uniswap v4 pool
The Uniswap v4 docs explain that each v4 pool can attach one hook, an external smart contract that can run custom logic before or after swaps, apply dynamic fees, or gate who can add or remove liquidity. The hook is set when the pool is created and cannot be changed later. For v4 tokens, that means the pool you trade through deserves the same scrutiny as the token contract.
GeckoTerminal shows four AudaCity pools. Apart from the main DacityCoin/ETH pool, created at 20:23 UTC on October 31, 2026, the other three carry fee labels of 81%, 48%, and 77% in their names and hold between under $1 and about $15 of liquidity. They see almost no trading, but a bad route through one of them could cost you an absurd fee.
- On the quote screen, check the route, the pool fee, and the minimum amount received.
- Avoid cranking slippage tolerance up; it lets trades fill at much worse prices.
- Approve only the amount you need, and revoke unused token approvals afterward.
- Ethereum mainnet gas applies to every trade, which eats a bigger share of small orders.
Pre-buy checklist for AudaCity
- 1
Lock in the address
Confirm 0x14d145a695a2e98234e83d8c780f6a5852c3c95b on the CoinGecko audacity-2 page and on Etherscan, then copy only that. The Solana AudaCity and Dacity Coin are different tokens.
- 2
Cross-check official channels
Make sure the website and X account listed on CoinGecko point to the same address. Accounts promoting a different address may be impersonators.
- 3
Check liquidity and the pool
See whether the main pool still holds around $373,000 or has suddenly shrunk. Exclude pools with abnormal fee labels from your route.
- 4
Recheck holder spread
Look for a jump in the top holders' share or new large wallets. There is currently no public data on developer holdings.
- 5
Watch trade flow by size
Focus on whether large sells keep coming, not on trade counts. Note the drawdown from the high and the 24-hour move.
- 6
Set a loss limit first
A meme token with no whitepaper, audit, or roadmap can go close to zero. Decide your maximum loss and your exit conditions before you buy.
What a #1 trending spot does and does not tell you
Per the CoinGecko API docs, the trending coins list is the top 15 coins by search popularity on CoinGecko over the last 24 hours. It is a measure of attention. It does not evaluate the team, audits, real usage, or whether liquidity will stick around.
| Trending rank tells you | It does not tell you |
|---|---|
| Search interest spiked in the last 24 hours | What the token is for or worth |
| Volatility may be elevated | Who the team is, their allocation, or audit status |
| Lookalike tokens may get searched too | Whether pool liquidity will hold |
To see where the buzz is coming from, the Theddari Telegram crypto trends page tracks how often coins are mentioned across channels. Rising mentions can also be paid promotion, so treat them as a prompt to check the numbers, not as a verdict.
For coins listed on centralized exchanges, a cross-exchange price comparison helps spot gaps between venues. AudaCity has no centralized exchange market on CoinGecko, so a single DEX pool is effectively the only price source, which is a risk in itself.
Bottom line: AudaCity is an Ethereum meme token whose public materials amount to a slogan, with no disclosed utility, team, or audit. Its pool liquidity is thin relative to market cap, and a same-ticker Solana token is circulating. If you still want exposure, lock the address, check the pool and liquidity, recheck holders, and size the position as money you can afford to lose.
