Airstrikes on a gold mine on the Sudan-Egypt border on Saturday killed more than 200 workers, three survivors told Sudan Tribune. The Sudanese rights group Emergency Lawyers put the preliminary toll at 72 and blamed Egypt's air force. Survivors told AFP a jet struck five times at Jabal al-Uqaydat, and said thousands fled into the mountains while many may be trapped under rubble.
