🇺🇸 "ICE agents shot at least seven rounds of bullets into the car, with his five-year-old child in the back."
Darializa Avila Chevalier, the Democratic nominee for New York's 13th District, joined The Majority Report this morning to discuss U.S. federal agents shooting Oscar, 28, in the neck in Marble Hill.
She said agents in plain clothes refused to say what agency they were with, then went door to door seeking footage. At the hospital, she said, NYPD officers shoved crowds trying to stop an unmarked vehicle. One shoved her to the ground as she sought to de-escalate, footage shows.
Avila Chevalier, an ally of Mayor Zohran Mamdani, also reiterated her public call for NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch to resign.
