🔴 Israeli authorities returned the body of Palestinian prisoner Marwan Harzallah, from Al-Ain refugee camp in Nablus, the occupied West Bank, on Thursday, more than six months after he died in Israel’s Megiddo Prison on March 28, 2026.

Harzallah was arrested in January 2026 on allegations of “incitement.” Palestinian prisoners’ organizations said his death was a direct result of being denied necessary medical treatment and healthcare, holding Israeli authorities responsible. Following the return of Harzallah’s body, Israel continues to withhold the bodies of at least 99 Palestinians who died in its prisons, including 88 who have died since October 7, 2023.
