⚡️ Ukraine has struck Russian oil and military targets for two straight nights, following President Volodymyr Zelensky's pledge to escalate attacks on Russia's energy industry.

Overnight Monday, Ukraine launched what Russian state media called the largest drone attack on the Moscow region in two years. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said about 650 drones flew toward the capital region. The drones set fire to the Volodarskaya fuel hub near Konstantinovo, about 40 km from Moscow, the region's largest oil depot. It handles about 3 million tons of petroleum products a year and supplies jet fuel, diesel and gasoline to Moscow, including by pipeline to the city's airports. Geolocated footage showed explosions and fires at its tank farm. Over the past day, Zelensky said, Ukraine hit 4 more targets: two oil facilities and a training ground in the Perm, Samara and Astrakhan regions, plus a target in the Black Sea. His video appeared to show a tanker burning off the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi on Tuesday evening. Russian authorities said the Liberian-flagged crude tanker was hit by sea drones. All 23 crew members, Indian nationals, were rescued, and burning oil spread across the water. Ukraine had sanctioned the vessel in February as part of Russia's "shadow fleet" for evading oil sanctions. The strikes follow Zelensky's pledge to Reuters on Saturday to escalate attacks on Russian refineries, despite Trump's warning that they are driving up global diesel prices.
