🇺🇸 President Donald Trump on Monday defended the Pentagon’s decision to remove B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford in the UK following what he described as “some threats,” after previously linking Iran to a security incident near the base.

➤ “Rather than tempting the enemy … why should we leave them there? So, we moved them around a little bit. Not very far,” Trump said, adding that Washington knows who made the threat and that “they’ve gotten themselves into big problems,” without elaborating. ➤ UK counterterrorism police separately arrested a 22-year-old British national in Westminster on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts in connection with activity near Fairford, bringing the number of arrests linked to the investigation over the past two weeks to seven.
