Quack AI is a crypto project that builds an AI governance layer: software agents that read DAO proposals, score them for risk and urgency, and can vote and execute on a user's behalf. Its token, $Q, became the #1 trending coin on CoinGecko on October 18, 2026 after more than doubling in a single day. The short answer for anyone considering it: the bigger story is not the rally but the token structure. Less than half of the supply is circulating, team and investor unlocks have started, and short-term volatility is extreme. Everything below is based on Quack AI's official docs and CoinGecko data checked on October 18, 2026.

What does Quack AI actually build?

According to the official FAQ, Quack AI is not a standalone voting app. It positions itself as infrastructure that plugs into existing governance systems. There are three main pieces:

• AI governance agents that analyze proposals using NAV data, compliance rules or transaction history, score them, and vote or execute when a user delegates to them. Delegation can be revoked at any time.
• Q402, a gasless payment and execution layer built on EIP-7702 and EIP-712. It collapses the usual approve, transfer and pay steps into a single signature. The FAQ says it is live on seven EVM mainnets: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, X Layer, Mantle, Stable and Injective EVM.
• A policy engine and RWA tooling that checks spending limits, recipient restrictions and KYC status before execution, and supports NAV and proof-of-reserve checks for tokenized real-world assets.

In its September 2025 TGE announcement, the team claimed more than 3 million Passport holders, 40+ integrations and partners, and a $3.6 million raise from backers including Animoca Brands. These are self-reported figures, not audited metrics, so treat them as marketing claims until you can match them with on-chain data.

Quack AI token ($Q): key numbers behind the rally

The figures below come from the tokenomics overview and a CoinGecko API snapshot taken at 02:53 UTC on October 18, 2026. Prices move by the minute, so recheck before acting.

The all-time high was printed the same day, and the daily high was more than twice the daily low. Late buyers in moves like this can take heavy losses on even a modest pullback. Binance also lists a Q/USDT perpetual futures contract, which means leveraged positions can pile up on one side and trigger liquidation cascades that amplify spot swings. Theddari's funding rate comparison tool shows funding rates across exchanges, which is a useful gauge of whether longs or shorts are crowded.

Supply and unlock schedule: what is still coming

The token allocation page splits the supply as shown below. The release schedule puts circulating supply at TGE at about 16.16% and the full unlock timeline at 37 months. The TGE and first trading day was September 2, 2025.

The bucket to watch is the 21% held by the core team, investors and advisors. If the 12-month cliff ended around September 2026, linear vesting releases about 0.875% of total supply per month (21% divided by 24), or roughly 87.5 million $Q. At the October 18 price of $0.139, that is around $12 million worth of tokens per month, on top of continuing community, ecosystem and treasury releases. The docs do not publish exact monthly dates or amounts, so this is an estimate from the stated terms. Verify actual wallet movements on a block explorer or an unlock tracker.

Checklist before buying Quack AI

1. 1

   Match the contract address

Both CoinGecko and the official docs list 0xc07e1300dc138601FA6B0b59f8D0FA477e690589 for Ethereum and BNB Chain. Copycat tokens named Quack, QUACK AI or simply Q often appear on decentralized exchanges right after a coin trends. Search by address, not by name, in your wallet or DEX.

2. 2

   Check the exchange and network

The official FAQ names Binance Alpha, Binance Futures, Bitget, Kraken, KuCoin and Gate. Each exchange limits service in some countries, so confirm yours is supported before you deposit. Sending tokens over a network the exchange does not support can mean losing them.

3. 3

   Compare prices across venues

During spikes, prices on regional exchanges can drift away from global ones. Theddari's arbitrage page tracks cross-exchange price gaps so you can see whether you would be paying a premium.

4. 4

   Look at holder concentration

Open the token's holder list on Etherscan or BscScan. Check what share the top wallets hold and which ones are labeled as exchanges, vesting contracts or team wallets. Large locked balances moving to exchanges around unlock dates are an early warning sign.

5. 5

   Confirm why the price moved

Is the rally tied to something you can verify on official channels, such as a new listing, partnership or product launch? Or is it only social media chatter? Theddari's crypto Telegram trends page shows which narratives are spreading.

Read yield claims carefully

Quack AI's docs describe Governance Yield for staking, delegation and relaying, but they say rewards are funded by protocol fees and weighted by agent accuracy rather than set at a fixed APR. If someone in a community chat promises a fixed staking return or asks you to connect your wallet to an unfamiliar site, confirm the domain first. Official domains are quackai.ai and quackai.gitbook.io, and the official bridge is listed as bridge.quackai.ai.

Risks that AI token buyers often miss

• Product value is not token value. Even if the AI features get real use, weak links between fees and the token (burns, buybacks or distributions) mean usage may not support the price.
• Self-reported metrics. User and integration counts usually come from the project. Separate them from verifiable data such as on-chain transaction counts or actual delegated voting power.
• Derivatives pressure. Mid-cap tokens with perpetual futures can swing hard when funding rates and open interest change quickly.
• Jurisdiction and tax. Rules on using offshore exchanges and reporting crypto gains differ by country. Check your local tax authority's guidance and keep records of every trade, including the cost basis of each purchase.

Bottom line: Quack AI has a clear product direction in AI agent governance and gasless execution, with public documentation behind it. But as of October 2026, $Q is coming off a parabolic run, fewer than half its tokens circulate, and team and investor unlocks are under way. Before acting on a trending rank, check five things: the contract address, the exchange and network, the unlock schedule, holder concentration and the actual reason for the move. Then size any position to an amount you can afford to lose.
