๐พ๐ช Yemeni journalist Hussain al-Bukhaiti says Saudi Arabia's denial that it is bombing Yemen proves it is too cowardly to acknowledge it is attacking Ansar Allah.
The Saudi-backed Yemeni regime says its own forces, not Saudi Arabia, are carrying out the airstrikes on Ansar Allah. Al-Bukhaiti responded to an Al Jazeera anchor, who corrected Al-Bukhaitiโs characterization of the war as a Yemeni-Saudi affair, on air: "Dear sister, if it's true that the so-called Saudi-legitimated government is the one carrying out the airstrikes, this proves how cowardly Saudi Arabia is. They are cowards to the point that Yemen strikes them daily, destroying their oil and gas, their oil fields, and their ports, daily provoking and battering them, and Saudi Arabia still doesn't dare respond to us."
Ansar Allah (also known as the Houthis) said Sunday it had launched ballistic missiles and drones at Aramco facilities in Riyadh and Khurais, causing major fires. It said the strikes were retaliation for 50 Saudi airstrikes and missiles over the previous 12 hours on Sanaa, al-Jawf, Taiz, Amran, Hajjah and Saada. By its count, there have been 1,460 such strikes since the escalation began about a month ago.
