⭕️🇸🇾 Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a civilian bus carrying workers home in Homs, Syria, Wednesday, killing at least seven people, Syrian state media reported.

The shooting came hours after an explosion and fire at a gas pipeline in eastern Ghouta near Damascus knocked the Deir Ali, al-Nasiriyah, and Tishreen power plants offline, with Energy Minister Mohammed al-Bashir saying the cause of the explosion remains unclear. “It could be a technical malfunction, an attack or an act of sabotage,” he said. Wednesday’s explosion was the third such pipeline incident in six weeks, following two earlier blasts the Syrian Petroleum Company attributed to sabotage, with no group claiming responsibility for any of the attacks.
